HappyStarfishes

The story goes that a little girl wandered to a beach and saw many starfishes on the sand, drying out.  She started throwing them back in the water, one-by-one.  She was still doing this when an old man walked up to her, grumbling, “What are you doing that for? What does it matter?  There are a million more starfishes out here, all drying.”

Picking up another starfish and swinging it into the water, the little girl replied, “it matters to that one.”

We’re all starfishes – my desire is for us to all be happy ones. 🙂
